Free Quotes Translates Into Money $$$

Some would think that Google's move to make real-time quotes is a bad thing. I agree. sort of. I think it is a bad thing for other companies who must now change, or risk losing a portion of their customer base. Google talks about this move to free real-time quotes in "Real-Time quotes for free."

This negative effect creates a perfect opportunity to sell short. Technological changes of the nature that Google makes has a tendency to rattle the stock world. As always though, don't take my word on it. research it before making actual investment decisions.

Power Branding gone shady...

MySpace recently sued Scott Richter, the 'Spam King' for illegally gaining access and spamming their accounts. I can foresee this being a potential issue for google with their 3d modeling. Although their post's catchy title "super models wanted" is suggestive it refers to all objects. How long will it be though before predators get on and get through the approval process.

Google is usually top notch for detering this kind of activity, but will their approval process permit things to get through. It will be interesting to see how this develops.

Second Best

Honestly I prefer being self employed, but the guys over at google seem to be doing it right. I have been reading through "we made the list" and am as usual impressed. Other than impressive food, they also have high growth and room to grow. Similar to being self employed, everyone is encouraged to learn and grow.
