Using Analytics and Adsense to increase ROI

The use of google analytics has really improved my ability to increase the effectiveness of my webpages. Although the program is tied together with google adwords, it is not set up to work with adsense.

I would really like to be able to benchmark my adsense program with the nice GUI that analytics provides. However as I am not, I am forced to gather information from both.

I actually have this blog set up to gather data from both. The adsense tells me how many times the ads are viewed that are in a specific channel and then it tells me the clickthrough rate. I then simultaneously go over to analytics to see if there is a geographical pattern to where my traffic is coming from.

What I am suggesting is that as a website owner, you should investigate the fenominom of WEB 2.0 and the online community. Create an adsense account and create a myspace account. Then network with other users. This will create a generous amount of high quality traffic to your site. (link the myspace account to your website)

Comment on their posts and on their myspace pages. Leave bullitins and post a blog. All of these are ways that you can comunicate with others and build a customer base online.

As individuals come to your site, the the adsense ads will suddenly become even more effective.

Money is all in numbers. so create content, create traffic and reap the benefits financially.

There are millions of books out there that are published to 'help' others learn about search engine optimization. Google Bombing, a techique where a site owner (or often tousands of site owners) can link to another page with the link's text set to a specific key word.

A site owner in an attempt to improve their search engine placement, could potentially go to other sites and leave links that point to their own with their desired keywords.

This could really have an effect through online communities such as myspace, where comments with imbedded links could be left for web crawlers to find.
